The Humanist Approach to Happiness: Practical Wisdom
The Humanist Approach to Happiness: Practical Wisdom is primarily aimed at teens and young adults, but anyone who wants to learn more about Humanism and it’s practical application to daily life can enjoy this book. In addition to discussing the importance of ethics, this book also provides easy lessons on how to begin practicing Freethought and the reasons why Humanists apply skepticism and reason to every day problem solving. The book then applies these Humanist lessons to everything from dating, grief, self-identify, addiction, recovery and, of course, sex.
This book addresses not only the importance of Humanist ethics, but applies those ethics to the real life situations all people will face throughout their lives. It is the only book that not only explains Humanism in easy to understand terms, but also shows how Humanism can help people live happier more productive lives.
